- You need to fill in a day of your itinerary that isn't scheduled for golf on one of the big, well-known courses.
- You want to get another 9 or 18 holes in during a long, late summer evening after playing a big, well-known course in the morning.
- You are in the area for other (non-golf) reasons and the opportunity presents itself to slip off for a quick round.
